Peace Academy is a childcare and preschool center focused on nurturing children, enriching parents, and strengthening the community through a caring, faith-centered environment. Built around the belief that every child is a gift from God, Peace Academy creates spaces where children feel welcomed, supported, and inspired to learn and grow.
To help bring that vision to life, Peace Academy partnered with Sign Badgers to develop immersive environmental graphics and exterior signage that transform the facility into an engaging and imaginative experience for children and families alike.
The Challenge
Peace Academy wanted their facility to feel more than functional. The environment needed to create a sense of warmth, creativity, and wonder from the moment families arrived.
Interior spaces needed to feel engaging and age-appropriate while also supporting a calm, welcoming atmosphere for children, parents, and staff. Large hallways and curved architectural walls presented an opportunity to create something memorable, but the graphics needed to remain cohesive, durable, and visually balanced throughout the space.
At the same time, exterior signage needed to establish a polished and recognizable presence that reflected Peace Academy’s identity within the community.
The Solution & Impact
Inside, large-scale custom wall murals completely transformed the interior environment. Designed around whimsical watercolor-style illustrations, the graphics turn hallways into imaginative landscapes filled with playful storefronts, nature scenes, lakes, mountains, and community-inspired elements.
Our design team thoughtfully incorporated some of Jeromy Brown’s favorite things throughout the artwork, including rubber duckies, hot dogs, popcorn, and meaningful locations. These personalized details create opportunities for discovery and engagement while making the space uniquely reflective of the vision behind Peace Academy.
Installed across curved walls and long corridors, the murals create an immersive experience that encourages exploration and imagination while helping break up large interior spaces into visually engaging environments for children.
The environmental graphics also support Peace Academy’s mission of creating spaces that feel nurturing and joyful. Bright colors, soft artistic textures, and playful storytelling elements help establish an atmosphere that feels welcoming, creative, and comforting for both children and families.
